Ziggy ISA 2024 Journey Hello, I have the opportunity to represent Australia in the ISA WORLD JUNIOR SURFING EVENT in El Salvador in May 2024. Super honoured to have been selected and excited to be representing "The Irukandjis" at this years Junior ISA. This trip is fully self funded and i would really appreciate any donation no matter how big or small that will help me get to El Salvador. Help get Lachlan to NZ with his Roller Derby team Lachlan's Roller Derby Team - The Toowoomba City Rollers (TCR) - is taking their level 3 junior team to New Zealand in July 2024. Here they will play against & train with the NZ National Junior Roller Derby Team as well as another local team. The cost for flights & accommodation is a significant expense and as the team are travelling individually, one of his parents will need to accompany him. Roller derby is a fully self-funded sport & as TCR is the only club in the Toowoomba area, the teams have to travel quite a lot for game opportunities. Lachlan has been skating & playing for almost 9 years (since he was 6) & is intending to try out for the Team Australia Juniors at the end of the year. In 2025, the championships will be held in Brisbane! Last year, 4 TCR Juniors travelled to France as part of the Team Australia Team, coming away with a Bronze medal! This opportunity to travel to NZ, will be a great stepping stone for Lachlan & his fellow team mates as they embark on their journey for Team Australia selection. It will allow them to play and train at a much high level that would be expected of a national team. Every donation will help ensure Lachlan has this opportunity to participate, as without your help, we most likely will not be able to afford for him to attend. Thank you for your generosity.

LIGHTWEIGHT DOUBLE OLYMPIC QUALIFICATION Myself and Georgia Miansarow have been selected in the Australian Lightweight Women’s Double to compete at the Final Olympic Qualification Regatta in Lucerne, May 19-21. We are training independently with our club coach in Sydney until May 5th before flying overseas to continue our preparations. We are looking to raise funds to assist us with the costs associated with training and living expenses, including, accomodation, food and transport.

We are the Australian Lightweight Women’s Double, please support us in our bid to qualify for the Paris Olympics.

SSV Team VIC 15 Years and Under Girls Australian Football Team 2024 Lily has been selected as one of 24 team members to represent Victoria in the 15 Years and Under Australian Football team from 300+ triallists. This takes place on the Gold Coast from July 27th to August 3rd 2024. Attending this Championships is expensive. Any contribution you could make to support Lily in this fantastic development opportunity would be most appreciated. All donations made are tax deductable too!

BFC Development Fund Brookvale Football Club are part of Manly Warringah Football Association and manage teams from Under 6's through to Premier League. BFC is a not for profit incorporated club that attends to the development of grass-roots football players in our local community. BFC is partnering with the Australian Sports Foundation to assist in raising funds for operational equipment and coaching and player development pathway programs. Financial assistance through the BFC Development Fund will allow the club to continue its program to develop grass-roots talent, upgrade equipment and uniforms and continue the skill development of coaching staff. Without the assistance of our volunteers, sponsors and the general community BFC would not be able to pursue our objectives of being a prospering football club of choice for football participants in the Brookvale and surronding areas.

Altona Hockey Club Coaching Assistance Fund The Altona Hockey Club is a family hockey club established in 1932 with a long tradition in the top level of hockey in Victoria. We have over 30 teams, with our top men's and women's sides competing in the Victorian Premier League. Coaching has been recognised as a vital component of a strong hockey club and we are looking to raise funds to help support the recruitment and development of coaches from the all levels through to the elite. Developing coaches includes supporting our up and coming coaches with formal accreditations, training, and specialist coaching. Xavier Collins Swimming at Junior Worlds 2024 Fundraising to help Xavier attend the 2024 Junior World Championships. Xavier, 17, will be racing for Australia in the 10km Open Water Race event in Italy this September. The money will help with training/coaching fees, equipment and treatment. Also more importantly Travel and accommodation in lead up events. Xavier has swam since he was 10. Loved swimming and competing ever since. He has competed in State and National Championships, collecting great results along the way. Swimming in the pool was where it all started. Competing mainly in the freestyle events 50m to 400m. Finishing as state champion in those events for the last 3 years in a row. Also making national finals in each of these events and placing 2nd in the 200m free in 2023. 3 years ago, Xavier gave open water swimming a go. Instantly taking to the distance events. In his second year, 2022/23 season, he became the state champion for 5km, 7.5km and 10km events and then at the national championships, he finished 2nd in both the 5km and 7.5km events. This qualified Xavier for his first Australian team and training camps. Again in 2023/24 season, Xavier won all the state categories, 5km, 7.5km and 10km. At the 2024 National championships, Xavier was out touched in the 10km event for a 2nd place and took out his first national title in the 5km race. These results have earned Xavier selection in the National Team to race in the 10km Open Water Swimming event at the Junior World Championships in Sardinia, Italy this September. White Water Rafting World Championships Bosnia 2024 : Australian Open Women With the 2024 White Water Rafting World Championships being announced on shorter than usual notice, it will be our Australia Open Women 's Team who will be proudly waving the flag for us in Bosnia and Herzegovina during May. A very strong and enthusiastic team of talented paddlers! As a small unfunded sport in Australia, our competitors have to largely pay their own way when they travel nationally and internationally and any support that we can gain to assist getting our National team to Bosnia will be very greatly appreciated. White Water Rafting is one of the world's fastest growing adventure sports with over 30 million people actively involved. The International Rafting Federation is currently made up of more than 50 Nations, with representative teams participating in regular elite level competition. The four disciplines of raft racing are Sprint, Head to Head, Slalom and Downriver Marathon. Old Camberwell Supporter Drive 2024 The Club is pleased to announce the launch of our 2024 Supporter Offering – $50K in ’24! After the resounding success of our ‘Festival of Footy’ across the pandemic-impacted years of 2020 and 2021, we’re hoping to raise $50,000 in supporter revenue in 2024 to allow the club to: · Improve our training and playing facilities, including upgrades to our gym equipment; · Bolster coaching and development resources to give players the best chance for success both on and off-field; · Purchase over 100 new playing uniforms across Senior Men’s and Women’s teams; and · Invest in tools and technology that will help ensure the club is set up for sustainable, long-term success. This year we have also established the exciting new initiative called the Old Camberwell Patrons Club. To ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the club our goal is to build a capital fund, the income from which could be used to cover not only annual operating expenses but capital projects as they arise, such as improvements to facilities and the club gymnasium. With this in mind, we are introducing a Patrons Club. It is envisaged it will consist of a select group of supporters who are willing to commit a minimum of $1,000 to the club each year. Patrons will be listed on the club website with their photos, and recognised and thanked across the year for their generous support. We are hoping to raise $50,000 through this initiative, and would be delighted to welcome you as a member of the Old Camberwell Patrons Club.
