Lachlan's Roller Derby Team - The Toowoomba City Rollers (TCR) - is taking their level 3 junior team to New Zealand in July 2024. Here they will play against & train with the NZ National Junior Roller Derby Team as well as another local team. The cost for flights & accommodation is a significant expense and as the team are travelling individually, one of his parents will need to accompany him.

Roller derby is a fully self-funded sport & as TCR is the only club in the Toowoomba area, the teams have to travel quite a lot for game opportunities.

Lachlan has been skating & playing for almost 9 years (since he was 6) & is intending to try out for the Team Australia Juniors at the end of the year. In 2025, the championships will be held in Brisbane!

Last year, 4 TCR Juniors travelled to France as part of the Team Australia Team, coming away with a Bronze medal!

This opportunity to travel to NZ, will be a great stepping stone for Lachlan & his fellow team mates as they embark on their journey for Team Australia selection. It will allow them to play and train at a much high level that would be expected of a national team.

Every donation will help ensure Lachlan has this opportunity to participate, as without your help, we most likely will not be able to afford for him to attend.
