Travel with mates QAGA is committed to promote golf as a form of rehabilitation and recreation for amputees and people living with limb loss. Fitzroy Football Club - Player Assistance Fund As most supporters would know, there are considerable costs associated with fielding teams to represent our great club. This includes grounds, trainers, coaches, footballs, insurance, league fees and much more. This means that we need to charge our players registration fees. Many of our players are students with part-time work, or graduates at entry level jobs, and finding the registration fees each season can be a challenge. To help ease this burden, the Club seeks sponsorship of player registration fees by members and supporters. These donations can only cover all or part of a player's registration fees and are managed via the Club rather than being given to the player. Through the Australian Sports Foundation (ASF), supporters and members receive a tax deduction for assisting FFC players to cover the cost of their registration. Coaches each season provide a list of players recommended for sponsorship, with priority given to those who will most benefit from such assistance. Donations of between $295 and $480 will cover player registration fees across all teams, with the 2024 fees outlined here: Team Registration fees Men’s Senior and Reserves $480 Women’s Senior and Reserves $390 Men’s Thirds $325 Under 19s $295 If you would like to make a contribution towards part of a player's registration fee, please feel free to do so and your contribution will be grouped with other kind donations. If there is a particular player you would like your donation to be directed towards, please note their name in the ‘supporter message’ on your form. Magic United Player Pathways 2024 Magic United aim to provide professional development and football pathways to children of all abilities. Players also need equipment to train with. Football in Australia is often run and coached by volunteers who have no history in the game of football themselves. Magic wish to provide an option for families that love football to be in an environment where every child is coached by a qualified coach and where every coach coaches the kids in the same pathway. Where all kids know all coaches and where all coaches know all kids and everyone is celebrated within a true football community. This has enormous benefits for the sport. All too often in football kids feel there is no pathway for them after hitting the age of 11 or 12, if they don't make a rep team or an Academy (NPL) team they are usually lost to Rugby Union, League or AFL as they have not felt any future in the sport they are playing. Younger children need to see from an early age that this pathway exists and need to be in an environment where their love of football is celebrated and they are given the skills and pathways to continue enjoying the sport into adulthood. The Uncoachables Coaching the Uncoachables Academy 2020-2024 Seasons BlowFly Cricket actively develops our 'Uncoachables Coaching the Uncoachables ' coaches, firstly through the completion of the Cricket Australia Accredited Community (formerly Level 1) Course and then ongoing mentorship and experiential learning at various BlowFly Cricket Coaching Clinics held at: Sony Foundation Children’s Holiday Camps, Wheelchair Sports NSW Children’s School Holidays Camps, various specialised and mainstream schools and also WPHCCC Junior Blaster Centre, Coaches’ Association School Holiday Clinics, Schools programs supported by Cricket NSW, Inclusive Sports Days held at public schools supported by local councils and various bodies. With more and more experience and exposure our coaches develop increased levels of self-esteem, self-confidence, self-belief, assertive skills and maturation. Not to overlook the monetary payments for their time and effort. COVID-19 has had a significant impact on all parts of the community, especially regarding physical contact and interaction. This project is in light of the need for online aspects of coaching training and development, which also includes safe infection control and hygiene practices, and in response to our growing number of centres and increasing need for more incredible coaches. Pleasingly, we had seven (7) new CA Accredited Community Coaches join our ranks in January 2023. This is a fantastic achievement which augurs well for the progressive nature of this unique and highly acclaimed inclusive, all-abilities coaching program. Daniel Michel My name is Daniel Michel , I am 21 years old and am an Australian Paralympic Boccia athlete . I recently returned from my first Paralympic games in Rio , where I became the first Australian Boccia player to compete at the Paralympic games since Sydney 2000 . Boccia is a precision target ball sport similar to bowls and bocce and is played by athletes with varying degrees of physical disability. It is a sport that caters for the most severely physically disabled para-athletes in the Paralympic movement and is one of only two Paralympic sports that have no Olympic counterpart. My journey with Boccia began in 2011 when I was introduced to the sport by coaches from Boccia New South Wales at a “come-and-try” day. Prior to discovering Boccia, I had never been able to take part in sport due to my severe physical impairment caused by my condition, Spinal Muscular Atrophy , which I have had since birth. This condition affects almost every muscle in my body and renders me with very little strength and mobility in my limbs and torso. Despite my disability, I have always had a keen passion and love for sport, and Boccia provided me with an outlet to express that. I began competing internationally for Australia in 2013 when I debuted in the Asia and Oceania regional championships. Over the next three years, I would compete in a total of 10 international competitions, through which I would earn a world ranking of 15 and, consequently, a qualification slot for the Rio Paralympics . Competing at the Paralympics has been a lifelong goal of mine, and it was also a huge milestone for the sport as Australia had not had a Paralympic competitor for 16 years. The value of having Australian Boccia at the Paralympics again cannot be overstated as it demonstrates the abilities the most physically impaired members of our community have to be successful through sport, which is a concept that is not recognised by many members of society. I was exceptionally proud to have the opportunity to express the power of Boccia via the Paralympic platform. As my focus now shift towards Tokyo 2020 , the looming financial demand for the next four years is overwhelming to think about. Whilst qualifying for Rio will allow me to access greater funding from the government, it will not nearly be enough to fund the next phase of my journey. I will need to compete in at least four international competitions each year and will be endeavoring to train around 30 hours per week to ensure I am in the best condition to compete for a medal in Tokyo. Athletes from any sport rely on sponsorship to help them achieve their performance goals and I am seeking this generosity to allow me to compete for Australia at the pinnacle of my sport. A generous donation of $10,000 each year would put me in good stead to succeed in Tokyo . I am more than willing to work for this contribution. I have made numerous media appearances on TV, radio and newspaper and am very capable of marketing to a wide audience.

Recently I have been selected to represent my country in the U20 Australian Outback team, in the 2024 IFAF World Cup, this was a huge blessing and opportunity that provides me with the ability to showcase my talent and to represent my family and club in Canada in June. Unfortunately with this level of representation, comes with a great cost and I’m asking for your help. People who know me or who have been around me, understand how much of an opportunity this means to me and that I have been chasing this dream of American Football for quite some time. I have been in love with the game and the opportunity that this brings to myself and to my family is something that I’ll never take for granted. Football has brought me the ability to become a better individual in so many ways, it has taught me love, hard work, respect, discipline, dedication, accountability, to be gracious in both winning and defeat and most importantly the people I have met who have played with me, against me or coached me is a great privilege. TRIO W.A.K AUS Elite Acrobats FIG Acrobatic Cups Bulgaria & Portugal 2024 Acrogym Elite Athletes Whitney Picker (18), Aimee Chalk (18) and Kyla Santos (12), 3 Amazing Acrobatic Gymnasts who have earned the opportunity to represent Australia, have pushed through the last 18 months with hard work, motivation, dedication, passion, injuries and many sacrifices to become Elite Acrobats. The trio have consistently demonstrated extraordinary dedication, skill, and commitment to the sport of acrobatics. They have been exceptional athletes, consistently competing at the highest levels and representing our country with pride. Testament to the girls achievements throughout the season and over the past 18 months, together their consistent results include: 1st place 2022 National Club Championships 1st place NSW State Championships 2023 2nd place in Dynamic FIAC April 2023 (against 22 international groups) 1st Place National Championships 2023 1st place August National Squad Trial 2023 The trio have competed with difficulty consistently over the minimum required for national squad or national team selection throughout 2023. 1st place NSW State Championships 2024 The trio travelled to Belgium in April of last year (2023) to compete at FIAC in their first international event together. In-line with the above achievements they have earned the right to represent Australia by being selected into the National Team. They recently attended the national training camp at the Australian Institute of Sports. These girls have been selected and have committed to represent Australia at the upcoming Federation of International Gymnastics events to be held in Bulgaria and Portugal in May 2024. As with most amateur sports in Australia, the financial burden of events such as these, falls on the individual and their families. With no financial support from the relevant sporting or government bodies, these events are fully self funded. In an effort to turn their dream into reality, this page has been created. We are calling on your kindness and generosity to help support these wonderfully talented individuals by contributing to their journey. White Water Rafting World Championships Bosnia 2024 : Australian Open Women With the 2024 White Water Rafting World Championships being announced on shorter than usual notice, it will be our Australia Open Women 's Team who will be proudly waving the flag for us in Bosnia and Herzegovina during May. A very strong and enthusiastic team of talented paddlers! As a small unfunded sport in Australia, our competitors have to largely pay their own way when they travel nationally and internationally and any support that we can gain to assist getting our National team to Bosnia will be very greatly appreciated. White Water Rafting is one of the world's fastest growing adventure sports with over 30 million people actively involved. The International Rafting Federation is currently made up of more than 50 Nations, with representative teams participating in regular elite level competition. The four disciplines of raft racing are Sprint, Head to Head, Slalom and Downriver Marathon.
