Chop Chop - Get Albany to Adelaide We want to raise $7000 in total to help get our team to Adelaide, this will help cover the costs of accommodation while we play at The Great Southern Slam! - the largest roller derby tournament in the WORLD! Our team mate Bad JuJu is offering up their precious hair to help us raise some coins! Please chuck a $20 our way and help our team get to Adelaide. Interstate Travel Fund Ursula is a highly dedicated and motivated 15 year old Women’s Artistic Gymnast who trains at Perth Gymnastics Academy. Ursula is competing in the Senior International division, training 28+ hours a week. Ursula has been selected on the WAG State team, representing Western Australia at the Australian Gymnastics Championships on the Gold Coast May 10-12. We are raising travel and competition funds for this interstate competition where Ursula will be competing against the best WAG senior International athletes in the country. This event is also a trial for representation for Australia at future International competitions and training camps at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra Some of Ursula’s achievements to date are: 2018-23 Representing WA at the Australian Gymnastics Championships 2021 All Around Future International Australian Champion 2022 All Around Future International Australian Champion 2022 Future International Australian Championships Team Gold 2023 represented Australia at the Australian Junior Classic May 6th - All around champion Gold, silver on bars, bronze on Floor 2023 Australian Gymnastics Championships - all around Australian Champion, gold on bars and beam, silver on floor. 2023 selection into the Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Paris 2024 camp, training at the AIS Canberra 2023 National Clubs Junior International All Around Champion, gold on bars and silver on beam November 2023 represented Australia at the Tournoi International de Combs-la-Ville in France. Placing 8th on beam qualifying as 2nd reserve. November 2023 represented Australia at the Hopes Olympic Cup in the Czech Republic. WAG Junior International team placed 2nd and Qualified for bars finals placing 5th. Ursula is tracking well on the International Pathway but Perths isolation comes with a huge financial cost - Flights, accomodation, GWA and club travel levy’s being some of the expenses to be met. Share in the Monders' Spirit The Ormond Amateur Football Club has partnered with the Australian Sports Foundation to enable all payments to the 'Share in the Monders' Spirit' Campaign to be fully tax deductible. The ' Share in the Monders' Spirit ' Campaign has the vision for Ormond to be the football club of choice in the Ormond and surrounding area, and the mission to exist for footballers and our community to experience a sense of belonging. A significant reserve fund will be the important foundation from which Ormond will progress to Premier B and Premier A, with sustainable club operations, an elite coaching and player development program, player wellbeing program, excellent facilities, and a rock solid association with the Ormond Juniors. The Ormond Amateur Football Club has set up the ' Share in the Monders' Spirit ' Campaign, where contributions will be used to support the operations of the Club and to develop a financial reserve. This will ensure that the Club is able to invest in the necessary personnel, equipment, and facilities, to offer player health and wellbeing programs consistent with the Club's values, in order to turn the aspiration of continued success into reality. Our aim today, 91 years since our formation, is to continue to build on the solid foundations of those who have come before us, and ensure the revered traditions of our proud Club remain strong. Junior National Indoor Volleyball Womens Team 2024 Whilst studying my final year in high school I was successful in being offered a position at the Australian Volleyball Academy in Canberra. So at the age of 17 I finished high school and moved to Canberra on my own to pursue my dreams of playing indoor volleyball for Australia. This was a huge change for me but I took on the challenge and never looked back. My long term goal is to represent my country at the 2032 Olympics in my home town Brisbane and take any opportunity to make this dream possible along the way. I am working towards securing an overseas contract within the next 12 months to enhance and widen my indoor volleyball training, skills and experiences. Being a full time athlete, training 35 plus hours a week and competing most weekends doesn't allow much time for me to earn enough money to help with the costs involved in making my dream a reality. I coach volleyball at the local schools when I can as well as help with tours at the Australian Institute of Sport. I was recently named in the Under 20 Womens Australian Indoor Volleyball squad and with this comes training, uniforms, travel and accomodation costs. Volleyball is currently self funded so to help my family and myself cover the costs I am asking for family, friends and anyone else who would like to support me, to make a tax deductible donation. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and go towards the international competition costs.

There is no better feeling than wearing the Green and Gold, unless it is playing volleyball in Green and Gold. With indoor volleyball being a self funded sport I am asking for some help to be able to compete overseas this year. All  donations are tax deductible and would be greatly appreciated.

Altona Hockey Club Coaching Assistance Fund The Altona Hockey Club is a family hockey club established in 1932 with a long tradition in the top level of hockey in Victoria. We have over 30 teams, with our top men's and women's sides competing in the Victorian Premier League. Coaching has been recognised as a vital component of a strong hockey club and we are looking to raise funds to help support the recruitment and development of coaches from the all levels through to the elite. Developing coaches includes supporting our up and coming coaches with formal accreditations, training, and specialist coaching. Travelling costs are at an all time high, and travelling with a bike adds huge expense to an already expensive trip. I am a successful Under 21 competitor and current Australian Under 21 National Champion and my dream is to compete in all the UCI World Series rounds. In 2023 I had a successful campaign in Italy and Austria where I achieved a stage win, and an overall 4th place, and am currently ranked 9th in the Under 21 category. I am seeking assistance to compete in Europe from May to September 24 and would be extremely grateful for any support that can be provided.

defibs 4 parkrun Australia What started as one event in 2011 has now grown to over 400 events, from the Australian outback to the bushlands of Tassie and everything in between with over 700,000 people taking part, parkrun has become, without question the largest, most significant community focussed event in Australia, and it's happening each and every Saturday. parkrun is about bringing the community together in public parks and open spaces to have some fun in a friendly, social and supportive environment where you can walk, jog or run the 5k course (pushing a pram or with one dog on a short lead if you want to!), lend a helping hand as a volunteer in a wide range of super-easy roles, or simply spectate. We want parkrun to be the safest possible environment and for all of our events to have easy access to a defibrillator. As such we've made it our goal to make that a reality. Why is a defib important? Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) knows no boundaries. No matter where or when SCA strikes, early use of a defibrillator can help save lives. In Australia, approximately 30,000 people sustain cardiac arrest outside hospital and are treated by emergency medical services (EMS) each year (575 Australian’s every week): An average of only 9% of victims in Australia survive It can happen anytime, anywhere and to anyone, even at parkrun Early defibrillation is the single most effective treatment for SCA Defibrillation within three minutes of collapse can increase the chance of survival to over 70% How can you help? As the current top-performing female referee in Australia, I am deeply honoured to have been chosen to attend my third World Cup. However, the costs associated with attending such a significant event are substantial, and unfortunately, they fall solely on my shoulders. JAXON STEWART - U18 AUSTRALIAN TEAM - OCEANIA ATHLETICS CHAMPIONSHIP - FIJI 2024 Jaxon Stewart (West Track Club, WA) has been selected as part of the Australian team to compete in the U18 Men’s Decathlon & U18 Javelin at the Oceania Athletics Championships held in Fiji, 1st – 9th June 2024. Training for 10 events with 5 coaches, along with weekly personal training and gym sessions, recovery sessions, combined with completing Yr11 and Diploma of Sport studies, leaves very little time for Jaxon to hold a job or be a regular 16 year old teenager. Jaxon has many State and National titles to his name, in addition to Club and State records. His dedication to athletics is immeasurable. Jaxon is raising funds to cover the cost of his trip to the competition which are estimated at $5.5K, this includes return flights from Perth to Fiji, accommodation with the Australian team and general expenses for the competition. In the AMAZING event that this goal is exceeded, additional funds will be held in trust for Jaxon to use for future sporting events or towards equipment, such as a new javelin (~$2K) or a series of pole vaults (~$15K), all of which will assist him attaining his next major goal; representing Australia in the 2026 U20 World Athletics Championships held in Oregon, USA.
