The Australian Sports Foundation (ASF) can assist Australian non-profit, incorporated and other eligible organisations such as the following with sport related projects:

  • sporting clubs
  • sporting organisations (regional, state and national)
  • schools
  • councils and
  • community groups
You can see who we have assisted by looking at our project statistics and case studies.

The ASF can also offer a unique tax advantage to individuals, businesses and philanthropic donors.

Taxation guidelines prohibit the registration of projects with individuals. However, if you are a sportsperson with a sports related fundraising goal, then your club or sporting organisation may be able to register the project with the ASF.

‘Being able to offer our members a tax deduction for their support of our Water Project made the process of facilitating contributions that much easier. In the end with help of the ASF we were able to exceed our fundraising objectives.
Andrew David, GM, Sorrento Golf Club, Victoria’
