My name is Ruby Bryant, and I am a 17-year-old Year 12 student, living in Porepunkah, Victoria.

I am passionate about showjumping and currently manage a team of three horses and have been selected to compete at Global Amateur Tour Brazil at Sao Paulo CSI 5* in August 2024, which is the largest international showjumping competition in South America.

Being a part of the Global Amateur Amateur tour, I will have the privilege of competing on borrowed horses. The journey begins with several days at various equestrian facilities, where I will be working closely with the Chef d’ Equipe, trialling different horses to find the perfect competition companion. Following this, we will travel to the Sao Paulo CSI 5* Equestrian facility to undergo intensive training for four days with our new equestrian companions, preparing for three days of challenging competition. This international experience is a dream come true for me, and I am honored to have been selected among a talented group of riders.

I am fully committed to giving my best effort and being a valuable representative in this competition. The privilege of competing internationally is not only a personal achievement but also a chance to show my dedication and passion of showjumping.
