The category 2 grants program has recently been suspended with a revised annual granting program focusing on community sport being developed for anticipated launch later in 2011.   In the interim, no further category 2 project applications will be accepted by the ASF.

Category 2 project applications:

• can be made at any time throughout the year
• must include all supporting documentation as outlined in the application checklist
• are assessed against both organisation eligibility and project eligibility criteria
• can be approved for a period of up to twelve months
• may be eligible to receive one discretionary grant in the 12 month project approval period
